Every filmmaker has a moment that changes everything — the moment they pick up a camera and realise they’re not just capturing images, but preserving emotion, legacy and love. For me, that moment happened at my very first wedding film. I didn’t know it then, but that day would shape the next decade of my life and lead to the creation of Viora Noir, a brand built on cinematic storytelling and cultural authenticity.

Where It All Began

I still remember the nerves, the excitement, and the weight of responsibility as I walked into my first wedding. I wasn’t thinking about luxury cinematography or editorial‑style photography. I was simply focused on one thing — capturing real emotion.

That first wedding taught me the most important lesson of my career:

A wedding filmmaking isn’t about recording an event; it’s about telling a story.

I watched families laugh, cry, celebrate and come together. I saw traditions unfold with meaning and beauty. And as I filmed, I realised I wasn’t just documenting a day — I was preserving a legacy.

Discovering My Passion for Asian Wedding Traditions

As I continued filming, I found myself drawn to the richness of Pakistani, Indian, Sikh and Hindu weddings. The colours, the culture, the rituals — everything felt alive with emotion and storytelling potential.

Asian weddings move fast. They’re layered with tradition. They’re filled with moments that happen once and never again. And I knew I wanted to specialise in capturing them with the respect, precision and artistry they deserve.

My early experiences taught me to anticipate:

  • The emotional pause before a Nikkah signing

  • The energy of a Baraat entrance

  • The sacred stillness of an Anand Karaj

  • The vibrancy of Mehndi and Sangeet nights

These weren’t just ceremonies — they were stories waiting to be told cinematically.

Investing in Craft, Skill and Cinematic Vision

After that first wedding, I became obsessed with mastering the craft. I invested in:

  • 4K cinema cameras

  • High‑end lenses

  • Professional gimbals

  • Drone cinematography

  • Studio‑grade audio systems

Every upgrade wasn’t just about equipment — it was about elevating the experience for couples who deserved the highest level of production.

I studied lighting, composition, colour grading and editorial photography. I learned how to blend cinematic movement with cultural storytelling. And slowly, my films began to take on the signature style that defines Viora Noir today:

Luxury, Emotion, Authenticity and Impeccable detail.

Building Viora Noir: A Brand Born From Passion

Viora Noir wasn’t created overnight. It grew from years of filming weddings across:

  • London

  • Birmingham

  • Manchester

  • Leicester

  • Bradford

  • Leeds

  • Sheffield

  • And all over UK

Every couple I worked with shaped my vision. Every ceremony taught me something new. Every story reminded me why I started.

Today, Viora Noir stands as one of the UK’s leading names in Luxury Asian Wedding Cinematography & Photography, but its foundation will always be that first wedding — the moment I realised how powerful storytelling can be.

Why This Journey Matters

Couples often ask what makes my films different. The answer is simple:

I care deeply about the story behind every wedding.

My journey taught me to:

  • Capture emotion with intention

  • Respect cultural traditions

  • Craft films that feel cinematic yet personal

  • Make couples feel comfortable, calm and confident

  • Deliver work that stands the test of time

I don’t just film weddings — I honour them.

Your Story Is the Next Chapter

From my first wedding film to the hundreds I’ve captured since, one thing has never changed: my commitment to creating wedding films that feel timeless, emotional and beautifully crafted.

If you’re planning a Pakistani, Indian, Sikh, Hindu or multicultural wedding, I’d be honoured to tell your story with the same passion that started my journey.
